The Journal

Below is a gathering place for the things we've collected along the way. Here you will find tips, tricks, tools, teachings, and maybe a few memories, to boot.

It’s been five years since our little cafe opened its doors in Whittier.

In what must amount in the grand scheme to a tiny stretch of time, we’ve been lucky to learn so many things. We’ve put desperate effort into becoming greater students of our craft, into becoming more understanding people, and into bringing the things passed along to us to the others we meet along the path. So after all this time, we are finally feeling ready to place it all into words for anybody and everybody to come across. It all revolves the worlds of coffee and tea, and we’ll use it to dive into the practice of brewing, the preservation of traditional methods, and the purpose we find in pulling it all together. We hope you’ll find something here as a help to your journey, too.
